GARRY BRANDER SOLO SHOW 2024

For this show we see Garry Brander showcase his Western Islands and West Coast of Scotland work, together with some extensions that examine his incredible versatility as an artist.

One of the great artists of our generation, I do not know of any Scottish contemporary artist that has (or attempts to have) his range (of subject matter).

GSA Graduate Brander (2007-2011) has always been an exciting artist.
His style is expressionist (high-key palette), layered on top of his deeper conceptual messages. Brander is greatly affected by the world that he lives in and he will (subtly) thread these issues through his artistic expression.
There is always an interesting edge to his art that sets it apart from others.
